About the Program

Enjoy a special presentation:

65 Years in the Northwoods: Living the Wisconsin Idea at Kemp Natural Resources Station

What is that mysterious place behind the “KEEP OUT” sign on Kemp Road? One of 12 agricultural research stations managed by the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at UW–Madison, Kemp Natural Resources Station is dedicated to programs of research, instruction, and outreach concerning the management, conservation, and sustainable use of northern Wisconsin’s natural resources. Scott Bowe, Kemp Station superintendent, UW professor, and UW Extension wood products specialist, will share the Kemp Station story and the work of the natural resource managers and scientists who have contributed to the Wisconsin Idea.
