Enjoy your time at UW and make lots of friends!
Hours spent at College Library, working at the Brat Stand in the summer, and enjoying countless sunsets. Study hard and enjoy your experience even harder!
Make sure to make time for yourself and to have fun with your friends!

Remember that climbing Bascom Hill, especially with a heavy winter coat and backpack, means no gym time needed that day.
Study hard, have fun
Take it all in, but do your homework first…don't let the fun distractions take you away from classes…enjoy the various cultures…there is so much to learn!!
Mistakes will be made…don't beat yourself up over them. Learn from them.
Do the academics, but always remember that you will learn more outside the classroom than you will learn in it. Take in the whole experience.
Carpe Diem. Wisconsin offers so many wonderful classes and experiences. Take full advantage.
Work hard and enjoy every opportunity!
Enjoy every moment, seek out opportunities and do new things, take advantage of these years because they go so fast!
Go to the student union. Take mini course classes. Get involved in the Wisconsin Union Directorate. Expand your friendships.
Stay safe, take care of each other, study, be happy!
You stand where countless young adults have stood before you. You carry on a legacy. You will find your way. and your people, and yourself. You have everything it takes to thrive and succeed. I believe in you. Take care, dear one.
In college you are creating a pathway of opportunity for the rest of your life. Develop a pattern of excellence that can be counted on as you interact, cooperate, and make a better world for everyone.
Go read your professors’ websites and see what research they’re doing that aligns with your goals and interests. Then ask how you can help!
