Oswaldo Alvarez ’06 is the inaugural executive director of the Illinois Legislative Latino Caucus Foundation. His background in business and nonprofit management allowed him to launch public policy programming, helping grow the organization from a $300,000 annual budget to over $1.4 million in less than a year. He previously served as the director of the Illinois 2020 Census were he led the state to its highest self-response ever.
